Bahamas Shore Survival Training

November 19-22, 2009

Aviation Survival Technologies has teamed up with Air Journey, LLC. to present a very hands-on survival journey.

Imagine this.. You are flying along and enjoying the sights of the Islands when suddenly your engine comes to an abrupt stop. Next thing you know, you are swimming to shore with minimal survival equipment in hand. Are you prepared to spend the night? Or maybe two or three nights?

This training will start with 1/2 day classroom instruction, then you will be dropped offshore to a waiting liferaft. Once the liferaft phase is complete, you will be delivered to shore where you will build your survival camp and prepare for an overnight stay. Next day you will work on water procurement and signaling. Pay attention here, because if your signals are not seen, you will not be rescued by the instructors!

Once all survivors are spotted, you will return to the Abaco Resort to enjoy a welcomed shower and a evening dinner reception with what is promising to be a fun filled award presentations.
